Emergency Response Assistance Canada (ERAC) organizes and takes an active role in tabletop (or small-scale) and on-site exercises designed to test facility preparedness and regulatory compliance. ERAC’s team has extensive experience in emergency planning and dangerous goods response and decades of experience writing emergency response plans.

we plan, organize and facilitate the mandatory full-scale exercises every five years, and provide areas for improvement and corrective actions as part of our exercise report.
Online courses – ERAC also has additional online training courses on subjects including, gas detection, personal protective equipment, container damage assessment, bonding and grounding, product transferring, vapour and liquid flaring, container purging, as well as H2S Awareness.
LPG Firefighting training – a free online awareness course, as well as in-person LPG Level 1 Operations Firefighting training for first responders.
Canadian Emergency Response to Flammable Liquid Incidents in Transport Level 1 Training Course - a free online course that ERAC supported in its development to help first responders who may attend flammable liquids by rail transportation incidents in Canada.
